When you register as a delegate, we collect: your full name, date of birth, occupation, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, family and alternate address, country and state/region, next of kin details, hobbies, physical statistics (height, weight, and other measurements), blood group, health/illness information, pageant history, educational and career background, a short written response, and a headshot photograph.
Sensitive information: some of this (such as blood group and health/illness details) is sensitive personal data. It is collected only to support your safety and wellbeing during camp and the event, and is only accessible to authorised Pageant staff — it is never displayed publicly.
When you vote for a delegate, we collect: your name (optional), email address, and phone number (optional), so we can send you a payment receipt.
When you enquire about a sponsorship partnership, we collect: your company name, contact name, email, phone, and details about your goals.
All payments (registration fees and votes) are processed securely through Paystack. We do not store your card details on our servers — Paystack handles this directly under their own security standards.
If approved as a delegate, your name, country, and headshot photo will be displayed publicly on this website, including on the voting page where the public can vote for you.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. Information may be shared with Paystack solely for the purpose of processing payments.
We retain registration and contestant records for as long as reasonably necessary for the operation of the Pageant, including past editions, and for the QOGA Foundation's ongoing record of past winners.
You can request to see, correct, or ask us to delete your personal information by contacting us via WhatsApp at +234 907 340 3717. Note that some information (such as approved contestant records) may need to be retained for legitimate record-keeping even after a request, where required.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
